Summary of my conversation with David Lovering:
The Pixies reuniting: "We got older, it just happened."
Favorite song to play, besides La La Love You: "Tame. Caribou is a lot of fun too."
What songs are you playing off of Trompe?: "Planet of Sound, U-Mass, Subbacultcha, and Head-on. What else is on that album again?" (Great quote)
Do you play Motorway to Roswell?: "Nope."
Do you play The Happening?: "Nope."
Did you enjoy touring with Cracker?: "Yeah, that was a lot of fun. I used to get a lot of David Lowery's mail though, and vice versa."
This conversation took place at about 7:30 pm before the Winnipeg show. He said they hadn't even written that night's set list yet. The moron I am, I missed out on a golden opportunity to request a song (which would've been Ed Is Dead). All in all a super guy.

The back wall of the Burton Cummings Theatre...he was leaning against a wall, with a drink in his hand, with no one around him.

Was that the venue? It's pretty cool. I doubt any of the Pixies will be hanging out around Brixton in June for some reason. I can only hope I guess.

Yeah, not too many recognized David. I did also see Joey outside his tour bus. He was super nice as we talked for a couple minutes out in the cold. I heard he was also mingling in the audience beforehand.
