Does anyone know if theres any truth in the Pixies being on Lollapalooza 2004? I saw that theyre taking a large break in their announced tour dates around when the Lollapalooza took place last year so I was just wondering if anyone knew anything.
with them doing a full US tour in the fall, I'd be suprised if they did lollapalooza as well. It seems like over kill.
There's all sorts of possible reasons for a break from touring between europe and the fall. Maybe everyone will be focusing on their solo stuff. Kim still has to finish recording the new breeders album, frank will have to put the finishing touches on the nashville record and b-side comps and he and joey have to tour(maybe) for their new albums (smitten and frank black francis). Or who knows, maybe their start recording new pixies stuff. But lollopolooza? I doubt it
I have already seen ads running for lollapalooza with headlines listed and all. Like the Coachella ad I have seen with the Pixies listed and Radiohead.
