Hi,
Would someone out there be willing to help out a fan looking for a copy of tonight's show??
If someone is willing to buy an extra copy of the Disclive cd at the show, I would be happy to pay you for the cd + shipping! And I'd be forever grateful!
Please post and let me know what I would need to do/how to get in touch with you/get payment to you/etc.
Thanks!!! |

We might be able to help each other out... Do you know anyone selling an original disclive cd for the minneapolis gig? I can get hold of a cd for the regina gig but ideally i would like to swap it for this minneapolis one. other wise i might be able to sort a cash sale. let me know... Rich |

Hi Rich, Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone selling a Minneapolis cd. I would be more than happy to pay you for your trouble, though. I'd really appreciate it if you keep me in mind if you can manage an extra cd tonight. Thanks!!! |

I wasn't actually at the gig.... Just got another one ordered. By the looks of things i am going to have to pay bout $140 dollars to get the minneapolis gig on cd off some tout on ebay! I may be able to sell you my spare cd but i am not going to receieve it for a while so probably better to talk to you when i do. If you do find anyone selling a minneapolis gig cd (and isn't a tout!) then please let me know! I will try and help you. Rich |

Thanks Rich! Yeah, those Minneapolis CDs are gonna be tough to get. I'm not even going to try. I have a friend going to the Davis show who said he'd try to get me an extra cd. I'd be willing to trade that for the Regina show, if that help? Please keep me posted and let me know when you receive your cd and whether or not your willing to sell your extra! Thanks again! |

It didn't sell out I don't think, you should be able to order direct from DiscLive, no? Or did I miss something?

i've been buying the cds on the road, and would be happy to send a copy over. i have the regina discs. anybody have any objections to me making copies? they make their $30,000 off the 1000 copies they make for each night, and then don't expect to make any more money off them, right?

That's $30,000 in Canadian dollars, right? It was $25 per album in Minneapolis for me, but $30 in Winnipeg. Even though I'm sure the band isn't making a lot off of the CD's (the cost of the cases, discs production staff, recording engineers, and general touring expenses for all the people working for DiscLive can't be cheap!), like you said, johnny, I think they've made it clear they aren't expecting to make any more money off of them. I myself would wait to hear a more official word on what could/should be traded or copied, but I'd really like to hear the songs that they didn't play at the first two shows which I did go to. I don't see too much of a problem with trading some of the songs (for selfish reasons, for instance, I'd love to hear I Bleed, Hey, and River Euphrates). It'd be nice to hear some official word from Disclive or the band itself saying "sure! Copy whatever. Our 1,000 are sold. Bootleg away!" But I'm not sure if that'd happen.
