| There's really no reason for me to buy the new Pixies "best of".If I do it will be for purely aesthetic purposes. The only reason I got "Death To The Pixies" is for the live CD. Agree? |

yeah, i'm struggling to think of reasons to buy it, apart from completing my collection. i may well buy it. i'm not sure. i don't need it!
maybe if the cd notes are good, like the good bio of the pixies in death to...

| Will not be getting this or the new 4 song single. Have the EU versions of DTTP on cd and 10". The singles seems to be one of the Debaser singles from DTTP, is it not? |

there's no sleeve notes, just tracklistings and nice pictures - there's no reason to get this one again (other than completions sake), as there's nothing exclusive to this comp.
the single is one Best Of track, plus the b-sides from Head On (two also featured on the european Alec Eiffel cd release as well) - so again, nothing new, unless you don't own Head On or Alec Eiffel... |

oh I'm way too honest for my own good :)
I think it's good there's a new Best Of, as I don't like DTTP, and this one flows better - leaves me wanting more, rather than wondering why that track follows that one....
hopefully it'll appeal to younger fans just discovering them for the first time - there's too many people who don't really know much about them (and don't realise DTTP is a Best Of...) |

| I don't know, my local record store will sell a CD regular for about $12.99, which is a great price. The week a CD comes out though, they sell them as cheap as $7.99 to $9.99. It may just be one of those CDs that I grab in passing because it's not a big hit on the wallet. |
