the link works, you can only do simple html i think... inserting images, links or email 'mailto' things... i think it's all the stuff at the top is the html you can use... thanks for the link and the heads-up though! will have to keep an eye on that!

hehe! i should have looked past the first page of nme.com...

unfortunately i can't go, have no money at all until next loan cheque... so that rules that out. maybe just as well, as i've spent enough on pixies/festival tickets! would have been good to see them in my home-town though! although not supporting the stereophonics...

I went to see New Order at Move 2 years ago. It seemed quite easy to get booze in. I think at times people were getting searched though. Anyone go last year? was beer smuggling possible?

Well, I'm torn between bidding on Ebay for Brixton or buying a ticket for a supporting slot. Hmm.

Supporting the Stereophonics?!?!?!

Is there a thread on here regarding the Brixton meet up? I don't wanna crowd the place with a new thread.

I saw REM at Move last year. Pretty good! BUT everyone was getting searched going in! A friend even had to discard a bottle of water that was larger than the permitted size. Beer wasn't too expensive in there and the atmosphere was good.

WHooah! Just realised this is same weekend as T in the Park!! That means the Pixies play Manchester sat. and T in the Park sunday!!

Excellent! Means I'm not racing up from Newcastle at the crack of dawn to make sure I don't miss them. Hope Bowie's Tinthe Park sunday as well then.

Hope they're not too knackered for the sunday though!

It's not had it's own topic yet. I was gonna start one nearer the time.

Unfortunately I can't go to my home town gig, but it's probably just as well 'cos I hate the Stereophonics.

A lot!!!

I'm going to Paris for the 7th. I can't find that thread anymore. I couldn't really understand it as most of it was in french!
I can't bring myself to book a move ticket online, with booking and handling fees, they come out at £38! Think I might go and see if the box office is open at the ground, if not go to picadilly box office tomorrow...

The point has been made in "another place"; whoever put the Pixies on before the Stereophonics needs shooting. Better to put Elbow in that unenviable position, and if the Pixies open for anyone (heresy!) then that "anyone" should be The Cure.

The move festivals' one of the cheapest way to see the Pixies this year. For a bit more than the price of a SoundsLive! CD you can watch them when they AreLive! Thinks it's £38 quid all in for the Saturday.

I had the misfortune of seeing the Stereophonics last year :(

I'll see the Pixies at V Festival. Not too optimistic about getting a Brixton ticket.
