I am always impressed when directors play a Pixies cut in their movies and put them on the soundtrack...it just gives me another exucuse to hear my favorite band... I am pretty sure there are more than these but...have you guys heard of any others?

Gross Pointe Blank...

and Pump up the Volume

Although I was a little jealous when these sound tracks turned on an wider audience...how many times can you be watching a movie and hear your fave band????

it's been so long since i've seen lost highway, and i think it was cut from the final release, but some early footage i saw, in the bowling alley scene, a pixies song was playing, but i can't remeber what song.

"Here Comes Your Man" is in 'Say It Isn't So'. The movie sucks, but it was on CC last week and I kept it on.

david lynch wanted to use a pixies song for 'lost highway' but something prevented it from happening.

My husband says there is a Pixies song in "Matter of Degrees" which is about a college radio station this is bought out by corporate bullies. "Where is My Mind" is the track they used. The film is from 1991 so they used it long before "Fight Club." A link to the soundtrack:

MARRIED TO THE MOB [1988] featured Pixies "isla de encanta" although it wasn't on the soundtrack..

STUCK ON YOU [2003] has Pixies "here comes your man" in it, but no soundtrack..

UNITED STATES OF LELAND [2003] supposedly has several misc Pixies tracks plus an alt version of FB+C "manitoba" in it too, soundtrack yet to be released..
