Adnan, thank you for starting this thread; it's something everyone can reply to. Including myself. Increases my post count quite easily.
and HPM, this isn't always the case, but some people on the forum personally know others on the forum. Mike Velonas and Dean Katsiris, for example, personally know each other, so it would conceivably be quite easy for Mike to make a "happy birthday dean" thread. That's probably not the case here. Dunno.

Yeah, I think Mike spilled the beans on my b-day last year. Mark off Aug 5! :) He'll never see this thread as he's "busy" with school.
Those shoes are pretty cool and women's shoes or not, I'd wear 'em. I have a similar underwear policy. :)

Cool, ramona! I love some styles of Fleuvog -there used to be a massively expensive pair that I would look at all the time -they had this really neat white-on-black design with stuff on the bottom about the souls [sic] being "oil, grime, and Satan-proof". hee! How can you not love that? Blatantly-false and hyperbolic advertising is my mortal weakness.
I never bought them, though - too much dough, and I am way too short (5'3") to be able to pull off wearing such big shoes. Big heels are another matter. Give me height, or let me run barefoot and get Tetnus and worms, like the Kentuckian I am.

To answer the birthday question, Adnan had his just the other day, and it came up in passing, as many tidings of good cheer were being bestowed upon him, that many people on this forum have April birthdays, myself and Bumble being 2 of them (and I think VoVat's dad?) not to mention, The Man himself.
It's like forum extacy, is Birthday Lovin'.

This is because most of the parents get kind of horny around the end of June. My conception (not a big deal for my Dad but such a gift to the Humanity) occured in Greece, where my parents were on holidays. Allegedly they were listening to Boney M, that summer. That's why I'm such a funky dude.

Aug 5 is a very easy date to remember. It was the day that Piper at the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd was released. You're lucky. If it were some obscure date, I'd have to write it on my hand. It'd probably get washed off by the time Aug 5 came around.

Speedy_m, and Adnan, I really really really appreciate the compliments - there will be more artwork uploaded in a short while. Can't say as I've made any money at it yet -I just quit working the 9 to whenever corporate tech job a little bit ago, so right now it's a black hole on the wallet. We shall see....
