You can listen online with real player. It's left, but that's better than far right. Which is what's mostly on the airwaves. I'm going to start one that travels down the middle. Anyone got a couple of million I can borrow?

I'm having trouble taking this station seriously. When I want to hear about politics I want to hear it from seasoned politicians and people who are known for their political clout. Al Frankin is a very funny man, and I would love for Janine Garofolo (sp?) to perform my eulogy some day. She would make it very entertaining. And Chuck D... he's a rapper, right? These are the names I've heard when they've been promoting their station. It seems like they're saying "yeah, conservative radio may be big in the talk radio business, but look at us! We have entertainers!" I think having entertainers as their star power is a mistake. It doesn't come across as very credible. I'll tune in and judge for myself (and try not to form an uneducated opinion), but I'm not expecting much. But I do like to give the benifit of the doubt.

Oh, yeah. That.
If I had that, I'd be launching my own radio station to play college radio music in the college town that I live in since the real college radio station has been taken over by Top 40 "real rock." I'll be lucky if I can pull off a low power FM transmitter hooked up to my iTunes.

Although most celebrities are total dough-heads, these guys have put a lot of effort into trying to understand the current situation... I won't discount them entirely.

And really, someone's gotta do it. At least we're assured some amusement with this. =)

Anyone catch what Bush said the other day...i saw this on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Bush said "..this is one person who's decided that rather than allow democracy to flourish, he's going to excercise force, we just can't let that stand." (In reference to Saddam.)

Holy shit.

Then, he was talking about how as the date closes on the US handing power back to Iraq (ie, those they want in power) that the terrorists will no doubt retaliate even more - and he was fucking SMILING!!!!! Gloating!!

What a maniac.

Time to wake up, brush your teeth and stick it to The Man. Set your alarm to Morning Sedition and keep us on as you make your way to that charmingly decorated cubicle where you help rich people increase the disparity between their bank account and yours. We’ll give you the day’s headlines and political news, without that annoying, smiley, blow-dried double-talk the other media use to avoid offending anyone who might jeopardize their access to Sweet Lady Ad Revenues. Join radio veteran Mark Riley, journalist Sue Ellicott and comedian Marc Maron for morning news served up the way you like it: In context, with a healthy dollop of absurdity on top and a side order of subversion.

I think they, (as in The Man), meant for you to highlight this text :

"keep us on as you make your way to that charmingly decorated cubicle where you help rich people increase the disparity between their bank account and yours."

Get it...it's called sarcasm...I mean, really, how can you get a side order of subversion literally????

BTW...the right has Dennis Miller...now that's entertainment!!! Hehe!

I can't wait to listen to it. It's about time. "Entertainers" should air their political views- if not them, then who else? They've already got public identity- why not put it to good use and get the American Public thinking- instead of constantly being entertained? Al Franken, Janine Garafalo, Chuck D- these people have always used entertainment as a way of changing opinion and getting people to think outside the box. Ever listen to Public Enemy? Ever watch the Larry Sanders Show or the Ben Stiller Show? Saturday Night Live?
