Normally these things happen when all the band members are creatively spent and bored. But look whats happening here:
- Frank is recording Solo stuff *days before* the tour begins
- Kim has just finished studio work and a mini tour with the Breeders
- Joey is readying a new album for this summer which will come out during the tour
I just think its unbelievably cool that these guys are still, like, *busy*.
Add in the whole vibe where its all about the payday but still that somehow comes off as being okay (like finally getting thier due or something, as opposed to the blatent Sex Pistols or Eagles ripoffs), and the whole thing is just really surreal to me.

Richard from the Breeders mentioned it on noaloha.com that they have been in the studio "trying out some new stuff". So I would expect to see another Breeders album this year.

Well if they're gonna cash in on this reunion they might as well do it big.With all the media attention they're getting they might as well get their solo stuff advertised with it aswell

I really hope they're not gonna get the same reviews as ever, saying "Oh, Kim and Frank and Joey have new solo records, but it's nowhere as good as the songs they played on the reunion tour". Unfortunately, it's almost certain that's what's going to happen.
