| i was leafing through a magazine called sugar today, because i get free magazines without the covers from work when they're claiming credit or...yeah. sugar is like an equivalant(hell, i can't spell(but i can rhyme!)) to something like teen beat, i think. anyhoo, i was surprised to see that amongst usher and the like, the shins and joy zipper were in their top 10 albums of the month. i enjoy both of these bands, and i reckon this is hard evidence that people who read Sugar or J17 or whatever are cooler than people who watch mtv. |

Sounds like an excuse for reading Sugar to me!
I think MTV is just something to gawp at mindlessly when its on in the background, so falls far from any definition of coolness.
Still its a bit random for teeny magazines to put music like that in... reminds me of the first time the Strokes were on TOTP, I hadn't heard any of the hype and I was like 'gah?'.
Very odd.
Still, you are the boards resident teeny-bopper...

| well, i meant mtv2. my friend is in love with that zane guy. and brandon boyd too. i mean, sheesh. sheesh is all that comes to mind right now. i agree with her on johnny depp, but sometimes that girl can go too far. sugar did have a nice poster of orlando bloom and that english rugby player, who's name escapes me, though. |
