Does anyone have any information concerning the two Catholics Peel Sessions recorded in 1996 and 1999. I see they are listed in the FB EP Database thread, but I would like to know how to get a hold of a copy of both. Anybody have any ideas. |

You should be able to find the peel session with teenage fanclub on Amazon , however i had to get the Catholics sessions on mp3 from Peer to peer. Definetly worth trying to download, these sessions rock, especially living on soul. |

I think the 99 session is on the ftp. Five songs or so. For the 96 session, I got it off of soulseek. You should try the same.

The 1999 Session is on the FTP. That's where I got mine form and it is excellent. If I am not mistaken it has Living on Soul, Valley of Our Hope and Changing of the Guard on it and 2 other tracks. Maybe Sister Isabelle again. As for the Teenage Fanclub one, I bought that at HMV in London. But try Opalmusic.com , they're better than Amazon.com or amazon.co.uk. |

The Teenage Fanclub session was from 1994. I think the other show that Adam is asking about is the Peel Session from Feb 17, 1996, which was:
1. Everyone Is Wrong 2. Man of Steel 3. Skeleton Man 4. Close Your Eyes (an early version of I Need Peace)
I don't think that this show was ever offically released, but that there's a bootleg of it floating around somewhere. As I said, I found it on soulseek

I've got the last one on tape but I'll have to MP3 it... and I'm stuck on dialup so it's not easy to upload... I'll do it eventually.

As far as the '99 session goes, I think the other two tracks are Sister Isabelle & a rockin' good version of Billy Radcliffe....I think.

so there's 3 peel sessions, including the Teenage Fanclub one?
The Teenage Fanclub one is available on 12" vinyl, right?
1996 is a bootleg.
1999?
Very interesting questions.

Thanks for the info, guys. Now, would anyone be interested in trading or B&Ping for these. I have the one with Teenage Fanclub, so I just need the Catholics ones. I have no personal computer, therefore I cannot take advantage of the FTP site. |
