Here are the lyrics, what do you think of it? (Just kidding Song Oracle!)
Living On Soul
Though he might be a sloth He got heart and he'd do mighty works He`s got a new loin cloth Lucky sevens and his grandmothers curse
But your person will be bursting Like your Bikini Atoll Bursting ever bursting Yeah, your the living on soul They're gonna atomize you
You can`t get of your stop Like old Charlie on the MTA Though you were so chow chow Your Solely sorry that you cannot pay
But your person will be bursting Like your Bikini Atoll Bursting ever bursting Yeah, your the living on soul They're gonna atomize you
Heaven sent you fine, but You don`t know what to do And ever since you want me You don`t know what to do You elevate your mind, but Can`t stand the view I elevate my mind, but I can`t stand you Hallucinate my mind, but I couldn't stand you
I`m drinking antiknock I do a mantra and I know PL 1 I do the ragnarock I`m just a monster not a proto human
But your person Will be bursting Like your the peculiar toll Bursting ever bursting
Yeah your the living on soul They're gonna atomize you

"Living On Soul" is a great b-side, I personally like it better than half of the songs on "Frank Black and the Catholics." It alone makes the "All My Ghosts" CD single worth it. |

now that we're on the topic, The Tolerant, I can't blame you for getting that song in your head. that song is AMAZING and substantial evidence that, despite what PitchForkMedia claims, FB in 1998 was still as talented a songwriter as ever before.

speedy marie to my rescue again. thanks for the lyrics, sure beats hummin and yellin me burstins when i play. just knew it was a killer track when i heard it and known it ever since.
and pitchforkmedia can go shove it. the mans had more than a decade of top material. and for fucks sake he formed the pixies. 'nough said.
critics are there to criticise. its there job. |

I think living on soul should have been on an album, just like humboldt county massacre should have been on an album. One of his strongest singles ever. (as a whole)
