i think the 1p a pint increase in beer is going to hit me the most. ouch!
home in NZ, a pack of ciggies is NZ$5-6, which is about £2... i honestly don't see how the english can afford to smoke...
if only it actually put people off instead of just making the government millions....

Yeah, I am attempting to give up...doing quite well at giving up buying them...but I usually smoke ollies any how. much better.
Beer increase is disgusting.
And they are giving old people an extra £100!!! and they are *still* moaning!!!
They need to work out council tax to coincide with how much you earn. the way it works now is ridiculous.

Perhaps he will sell me a swastika with French Fanatic written on it. Or "ff", using the same letters as SS. He has the know how...

There was some discussion today in my local paper about the budget. A typical local family was asked to comment and they said it did nothing for them (which is probably correct) but they also stated that the diesel price rise would hit them in ‘a big way’.
Apparently they drive 160 miles in an average week. One would assume that their car must do at least 45 miles to the gallon. Therefore they buy 3.5 gallons a week = 16.5 litres. The price rise was 1.9p/litre. This equates to 31p a week and a grand total of £16.12 extra for the year. I’m thinking of writing to the paper and suggesting that the family buys one less bag of crisps a week to help pay for this outrageous fuel increase.
I wish people would complain about real injustices rather than trivialities like this.

i don't agree,no spaces and no capital letters is sooooo "greek geek".i love that nick, reminds me of a greek guy i met in lapony.he told me he came there because his favourite movie was "the lovers of the polar circle" or something like that.a spanish film.he was with a dutch girl(not his girlfriend i think),renting the same chalet as me and my two buddies.of course,he had a video tape of the above quoted film.of course we watched it.while watching this film, the guy was shooting it with his camera (the film on the telly).he asked us about paris, and i told him that the parisian girls were a bunch of bitches who wanted to fuck me because my daddy is rich.he asked us if he could interview us with his camera,we agreed and pulled our t-shirts over our faces, saying that we were pretty famous in france and didn't want to be recognized.i never laughed as much as that evening.

Old people moan, it's what they do. Really they serve no purpose to soceity so they should be shipped off to....Burkina Faso? when they reach the status of "Pensioner" It'll be good for the economy believe me. Sales of jigsaws and sponge cake might plummet though

Shoot. I figure enough of us ignore crappy grammar and awful spelling to allow mun chien a little room to breathe. There are plenty of *native* English speakers on this forum that take some crazy liberties with the written word.
Please ignore me too if this is all just a bunch of funnin' and you don't really mean to be pickin' at nits. I mean, it's not like he's typing in ALL CAPS or anything....

Now seriously i swear that in 20 years of writing and reading i had never noticed that when typing i should use spaces after fullstops and commas. After thorough investigation i found out that this is the correct typing for all languages and that unfortunately Pixiesteve was right. I must have skipped that particular lesson at school i guess. Anyway thanks Adnan, Floop and Apl for the support. Afterconsideringnotusingsfullstopsandcommasatall or limit my posts in single phrase slogans i decided to make Pixiesteve happy and try typing in a more conventional way.
