I just bought a used Mackie CR 1604 mixer and one of the fader buttons has come off. It's the button and the little flat metal piece that has come off. Nothing seems to be broken. I've tried sticking it back on but that doesn't seem to work. I also unscrewed the entire thing, but couldn't see any better because it's all a giant circuit board. I don't want to have to remove all the pots and take the cover off so I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with this.

hey tim
i know someone who had a similar problem where a fader had broken (not simply come) off, and they contacted the manufacturer and for a nominal price got a new piece. since the piece just came off, i'd suggest seeing if they have a customer service line that can help, or maybe direct you to the correct person who could help you. they are certain to know more than i do.

they are not pointless picture either.
the first pictures name is dumb.gif, because i thiough kathryn was being dumb.
then i posted a laughing picture because i was, actually, laughing... well, maybe jsut smiling. i was laughing in my head.
the third picture was slightly more pointless but was an effort to cheer up COF. seemed a bit down. |
