Will any guitarists be coming to Winnipeg for the Pixies' show? I have a long story to tell (via e-mail) that may be of interest.

Also I have a few questions for Minneapolis residents:

In Winnipeg almost all the musical instrument classified ads are found in one place, the buy-and-sell www.buysell.com, because it's free to advertise. This comes out every Thursday (costs about $3.25) and is on the internet the next week. Is there something similar for the Twin Cities?

I remember being in a store a long, long time ago that was in a residential area, probably a converted house, had vintage guitars and in particular had a Naylor amp. That was the first time I had heard about Naylor, so it must have been a decade ago. The building, if I remember, was yellow.

I'm not currently in the market for any instruments, but you know how curiosity is!

I know that Willie's American Guitars and especially The Podium are good stores, and I will make time to see solidbodyguitar.com inc. Are there any other recommendations for Vintage Guitars?

I need to try out a Peterson handheld strobe tuner, where can I do that?

Thank you for your brain processing time!

So being a Chicago resident I am completely unable to answer any of your Minneapolis music questions, but I do play guitar and I am going to both the Winnipeg and Minneapolis shows. I also like stories, I guess (good ones especially). Shoot: alec_eiffel at hotmail dot com.

I am a guitarist and a bassist. And I'll be going to Minneapolis (attending the show pending) and I will be at Winnipeg. Do tell.

I'm not a guitarist nor a bass player. I've listened Pixies since I was 7 and I came from Colombia to see them live for the first time. I was in Minneapolis with part of my family that had immigrated few years ago and it what a huge surprise when I heard that Pixies will kick off their tour in MPLS!!!!!!! I call at 9:03am to get tickets and they were sold out. Deception.

If somebody records this concert, I will appreciate if maybe I can listen to it, at least one time. I was planning to bring an small and digital voice recorder to save this memorable moment and share it with friends all around Colombia but it seems that now it's kinda impossible.

Thanks!!!
