Hi all,
First of all thank you for the recent additions! I had worked out Horrible Day to a T ( I wish I got of my ass and tabbed it months ago so I had made a contribution - but alas no! ) I had also dabbled with End of Miles but I worked it out from Em instead of Dm. I spose that'd be my silly guitar tuning. Anyway that leads me to my first suggestion. The Am (in your version) I thought should be A major. See what you think! Also the "walk-up" in the Black Rider - I had tried many combinations from the C major before seeing the tab and I must say that a C#m sounds pretty good i.e (C, C#m, D). I wish I could run into the recluse responsible for that song and run it by him! It's seems unconventional I know but I'll be darned if I'll play it any other way! (so-far) That's it for now, and thanx again for the best fan site ever!(because I spose Frank's the best singer/songwriter ever so it stands to reason. Yours Truly with Regards, JoshIAm |

I vote for tabbing all over the world. I suck at playing by hearing, all the little stuff I play are from tabs. |

Not the best tab in the world, or the most accurate but it works for me.
F# D G D A pet at my side, God in the sky...
Frank plays these as single notes during the verse, e.g F#- 2nd fret, e string, D-5th, a string. During the Joey rocking out bit he merrily strums away the chords. D could be/is an open chord.
The bridge bit:
A# Gm I will meet you over there. F# D G D F# D I am...
A# Gm going to meet you over there.
During the "...ranger" bit the Chords are: Bm ,G* and C
* could be some variation, i know its not G but i'll post what i play in abit. maybe someone out there has a nicer sounding chord I'll tab some joey riffs too. this is just Franks bit. |
