At this point I would like to relate my Policie Maison Doyon. If at any point, for any reason, you have a trace of a doubt or a suspicion do not proceed.
Intuition is too commonly ignored and clouded, with emotions like hope for example. |

Let me clarify, I don't think The Realist is here to do anything other than cause distress. There is a somewhat effective campaign here to ruin good will.
I plead with a moderator to clean this up. |

I have absolutely no solutions concerning the dilemna on the "need ticket" list. But i will say this...If you are on this forum under two or three names in the hopes to procure a ticket in order to turn around and rape the sanctity of the Pixies due to penis compensation and a lack of integrity......I curse thee. I curse thee to genital herpes in life and having to endure an eternity of Zamphere the pan flute master in the afterlife. One son-of-a-motherless goat decided it was a good idea to let everybody know he has 5 tickets and is lookiing for a 6th. You are half a butt puppet for trying to take a ticket away from somebody without ONE. sorry for ranting. i just get angered that we all have a major commonality in being Pixies fans and yet the camaraderie seems to be lacking. |

This thread's silly...I love it when people talk about their VIP status. I really do. It's called "Little Willy Syndrome".

Well I was going to toss all the names in a hat and decide who to sell my extra two tickets to last night but changed my mind. Though I do have a confirmation # with ticketmaster, my credit card still hasnt been charged and looking at the order on the ticketmaster website shows the confirmation # but no charges show as of yet. So, I will wait until I have the tickets IN HAND before I do anything with the extras. Sorry for any problems this may cause. |

That seems strange Havalina. My day off BTW.
OK, maybe not that strange. I'm in the wrong forum. More coffee please. |

Take your time and do what you need to do Havalina. Thanks for getting rid of your tickets here and not on ebay. I know we all appreciate it. |

Ok, the status on my tickets is finally showing that they are being shipped so I thought I would toss this propsition out to see if there are any takers. I have an extra pair of tickets for Minneapolis. Now I don't want money for them I would rather get a huge favour. Before this show was announced I got tickets for Winnipeg and have my flight booked and payed for to come in on the 13th at around 11:00 am. What I'm thinking of doing is trading the two extra tickets for a ride to the show from the Winnipeg airport and then back. Anyone form Winnipeg who is planning on driving willing to do that?

I just hope that when this is all said & done that the extra tickets will see there way to fans who really need them. I think this was a cool that some of you would go to the trouble of helping Pixies fans out in their time of need.

Nice diversion attempt but unfortunately, that's not going to get you tickets to see the band that you are obsessed with. Oh well, I'm sure you'll have plenty of douche slams to work on that night.
One more off the subject post to piss people off and show how clever I am:
It was Peter Cetera who did that cool song for Karate Kid II not Bryan Adams. If we have yet to realize that the Pixies basically picked up where mid-80s Chicago (circa '17') left off, none of us are true fans. |

Many thanks to those who are giving their tickets here to the real fans and not selling them on ebay for $400 each. Its definitely a great gesture and is appreciated. |

Word on the street is that The Pixies have The Fine Line on 4/11 and 4/12 (Sunday and Monday) to rehearse. I'm thinking of going down, maybe see if I can catch a glimpse. Or maybe I'll see if they're hiring janitors. Anybody want to head down? Maybe we could make this a cosolation prize thing for those of us that didn't get tickets. I'll bring my flask. mark@allforshow.net |

Yes, in fact they are.
BTW Realist, I'm not from Minneapolis, my passive-aggressiveness comes from my upbringing in Seattle. Actually in real life, I'm more of an asshole.

Mark 11 --
Yeah MTV said that the Pixies were rehearsing in Minneapolis now, which we sort of didn't believe. I wonder if this word on the street is to diffuse possible rumors of another "secret" show? I have to admit that I don't believe for a second that this will be the first show, but there is always that possibility! I really like the idea of getting hired as a janitor!
MattB --
What an awesome offer! Anyone in Winnipeg that wants to come to the Minneapolis show (preferrably someone with reliable transportation) should jump on this deal now. Luckily I do have tickets to this show, or I would be the first to bite on this.

The band is rehearsing at Paisley Park and at Todd Trainer's old flat. Kim has place connections by way of Kelley, and Frank has other connections besides me. |

Do you think this means that the Pixies are rehearsing with Prince, for a possible Prince/Pixies tour? Prince plays all his old favorites with the Pixies as his back-up band?

I wish I lived up in Winnipeg because I'd definately help you out. The best I could do though is offer you a room to stay in(here in Minneapolis), with excellent accomadations, plus a ride to and from the show.

i have both a sister and a girlfriend i would be willing to trade for 2 tickets to the Fine Line show on the 13th of april. If you don't like women...I have several internal organs i have no need for at the time..such as a kidney and perhaps a spleen. Donations will be given AFTER the show. I MAY consider testicle donation only if I would receive a prosthetic in advance and there would be a formal promise that nothing lude was being done to it (unless it requires being stuffed in any of Angelina Jolie's orifices). |

Now, let's say $10,000 USD and maybe, maybe I might consider not seeing the Pixies. As a beautiful girl once told me, nothing is impossible, for the right price! |

For a million dollars I might be able to pay the Pixies to play in my backyard this summer. See, the whole model is flawed. |

Good point. But I think they had other things they were going to do with that money...stupid stuff like buy a house, or pay for their kid's college or something.
