Thanks Homer :) I most definitely don't want to jinx it though! But I quit the band to be with a girl...who turned out to be a friggid bitch. So as long as Mel digs me as much as I dig her and that goes on and on, all will be well. And I'm pretty confident it will be.

hey el jimbo, we love american bands over here, you should start a band... does mel play anything? like a musical instrument i mean...
my band took quite a cool turn actually, saw my best mates band play a few days ago, he's in a band that sound very like perl jam, but he's an amazing guitarist, and he *really* wants to be in my band, which kind of blew me away, him being really amazing on guitar and having been in loads of other bands, and having his own band at the moment... so that's all cool.
erm, things i've done that are noteworthy... not much really. i'm dating my first gf who i didn't meet over the net at the moment... i was quite impressed with that... erm. no, that's it.

As for dating girls you met on the internet (this leads me to believe more than one)...was the utimate objective met quickly?
If the ultimate objective was met without jumping through all the normal hoops required I would find that extremely "noteworthy."
Were you able to get most of the bothersome foreplay out of the way on the keyboard? I would think a book sharing your technique and expertise in this area might sell.

I was thinking of doing just that. I know Brits have better taste in (rock) music than Americans. I'd like to get a band going again. I have a lot of fragments of songs laying around that I'd love to flesh out. Do you know a bassist, drummer, and lead guitar player/keyboard player who all can sing? I want them in my band.
Mel plays guitar, but hasn't played much in a while apparently.

erm, well we're going to be quite good once we start playing with my mate who's ace on guitar i reckon... and i was fairly happy with our tracks for the pixies tribute... 
hahaha! well i was low on self-esteem, and it was easier to express feelings by email and stuff like that, so it just mades things easier really. then i discovered that i'm not as bad as i thought, and that i could get a girlfriend through normal routes, and then i had a lot of fun.
my gf now smells nice, yeah, thanks.
