Quick question:

My Pistolero CD is barely scratched at all, but towards the end of "I Love Your Brain" there's a couple of skips. There's one at 3:09, 3:13 and 3:15. They really don't sound like actual CD skipping to me, but rather like pressing problems or studio problems; is this skipping present on all copies of the album?

Mine's okay. Have you tried it in more than one player?

I thought this was going to be about skipping past I Love Your Brain and I was going to come down hard on such silly behavior. No, my copy has nothing like a skip at the end of the song.

Yes, this has been discussed before (I actually posted a thread on it a while back.) A batch of Pistolero cd's are bad prints, apparently, and this little skippage/sound-hiccup problem appears on a good number of them.

It sucks, but what can ya do (except buy another copy, if it really bugs you that much...but then again, who's to say that you won't end up w/ a copy from the same printing....)

I have the exact same problem on my copy of Pistolero, just on the "I love your Brain" track.
I just thought that I scratched it somewhere along the line, but the CD is clean.

My copy of Pistolero skips, but it skips on Skeleton Man, and that's because there's a big scratch on the bottom. I have no idea how it got there.

I don't think mine skips. I always listen to the lp so I wouldn't know without checking. I wonder if the kind folks at SpinArt would be willing to take back such copies and give you a new one if it really is a problem with the pressing or whatever and not scratches.
