Does Frank even submit them for Grammy consideration? I bet he doesn't, I think it was pretty expensive he's on indie labels that probably don't want to shell out. Back when I was a professional musician I was a member of the the Recording Academy I voted in my specialty (classical music), and my dues were over $100 a year, if I recall correctly. Frank doesn't seem the type to spend money nominating something for a pointless award, I don't think he needs that sort of thing to feel validated as an artist.
it's like comparing apples to apples. some like their "Golden Delicious" all squishy...while others like their "Macintosh" crisp as winter. And for some if you eat too much you get a bellyache. Enjoy your apples
