Hi,
I've just download a very good performance of pixies, it's a broadcast of 1987:PIXIES 01/18/1987 Emerson College radio session, Boston.
Finally I found a good quality version of Boom Chick a Boom!!

I would be downloading it but one guy claims it's mp3 sourced, which wouldn't help us any.

I believe that it's actually taken from the MP3s we're hosting...
As for the FTP, look in the FTP section of the forum for all the info you need.

everything is there, i think a couple of songs didnt get split correct..guess i was in to much of a hurry that day trying to get another good show up...disc 2 only has 12 tracks, but youll see the final track it 12 and its tame

i think some people thought it was originally sourced from mp3's well before it got uploaded to the fb.net ftp. i don't think it is because i was the first to recieve it from the guy who "found" it and he assured me he transfered it directly from the tape he had, and not from mp3's. doesn't make sense really considering he would have had to make it into wav then encode to mp3 then decode back to wav to then burn the cd's he sent to me.
but then if this sharing groove version was made from the fb.net mp3's then best to avoid - just track down someone who's got the original wavs.
