I don't know where this idea came from but I don't like it. Im asking everyone who doesn't care for these so called cults to join this one. Ill add a mark for everyone who joins, hopefully we can abolish this silly silly idea.

I really don't know how the whole Cult thing started, but I have a feeling it'll eventually die out on its own. There's no need to try to abolish it. Not that I have anything against there being an I Hate Cults Cult; it's a clever contradiction in terms. Besides, I'm in a Culf, not a Cult.

I believe Frank Black started it*. Him and his bloody freakin' Cult of Ray, and his post-posting-crazed followers.
Hey, 'least it's less dangerous than the Aum Shinrikyo cult! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4395041/

Does the Cult of Pi involve 200 odd days at sea in a lifeboat with only a Royal Bengal tiger to keep you company or a staring contest at the sun (who can go longest without seeing spirals)?
For the record, nobody knows for sure how this cult thing started exactly. Except me and two other moderators at this store. But some secrets are best shrouded in mist and mystery.

Dean, I actually started the Cult of Pi...while you were away. The Cult has NOTHING to do with a staring contest or tiger at all; why do you ask?

Its a critically aclaimed book called the life of pi which he is refering. I found next to unreadable to be honest. I'll just stick to discworld methinks.

I see no harm in these cults, as long as the icon for it is relatively small. guess i could size mine down

I'm recruiting members for my cult. It's lonely in the South Atlantic.

Malax, I'm surprised. I quite liked the book though had I edited it we would have lost the bit about the island and it would've streamlined things quite nicely, but I really liked the way it was written and the way the story was told. A good story though maybe not much below the surface.
For the record I was also referencing the cult (pun INtended) movie, Pi with the latter part of that post.

Nothing is as crazy as Cult of the Dead Cow. I'm not even going to post a link to it. I'm not going to be responsible. Search it out on your own.
Edit - Okay, here's a link to a sample of what the site is capable of: http://www.cultdeadcow.com/cDc_files/cDc-0086.txt
