here's the plan:
after the seventh song in the pixies' set,(because of course, if man is five and the devil is six then god is seven,) at each of the shows, everyone in the know will start singing that "AAAAAWOOOO-OOOOOOH, AAAAAWOOOO-OOOOOOH" line that kim used to start off the breeders' cannonball with. imagine 50 or 60 people, scattered through the crowd, in eleven different cities, pulling that trick off. i bet we could even get people stamping out their feet to the opening beat.
why? besides making ms. kim deal feel like a million bucks, it's an easy enough song, that the pixies could play it off the cuff if they wanted to. we could show our love, and provide a vivid demonstration of this forum's collective power.
can you imagine how great that would sound on a live album?
now all we need is a catchy, crowd-participation tactic for a martinis tune...

We could get them to play a Breeders song, but why would we want too? We're seeing the Pixies not the Breeders.

| As much as I love the Breeders I think that would cause FB to storm off the stage and them to break up again and there'd be no more shows. Them staying together through the whole tour is already a fragile enough situation. I hope I'm wrong about that though. |

| Well, I wondered what the press release meant when they said they will be playing "mostly pixies songs." Not sure what this means. I think it would be interesting if they played Cannonball, I had mentioned elsewhere it might just prove to the world that the hatchet is buried. |

I have to admit that if they start including FB / Breeders songs in their set then I'm not gonna waste my money and fly back to the UK for the gig. Much as I love FB / FB&C, and think that Breeders are nothing more than mediocre at best, it is a Pixies reunion and shouldn't include any other songs from their solo projects.
Who's the man that won't cop out when there's danger all about? |

well, it wouldnt be fair to shut kim out entirely, but she should perform some of her pixies songs instead of her breeders' songs. frank could take a time out and let her do into the white, or gigantic, or silver, or i've been waiting for you, or whatever she wants

If 50 or 60 people would start to belt out tunes
in every freakin´ city they would play
I guess we could get them to play every song we want to (think of Beautiful of Christina sung by Joey or I believe in the thing called love by Kim)
or
otherwise
have a very short pixies reunion
