Due to the increase in the user-base here, and the ancienticity of the server, we need to cut down on the # of postings in the Forum so that it can operate at a decent speed.
These are our current guidelines, and topics will probably be lock for not following these. As well, topics may be locked if they are deemed completely pointless. User accounts will be locked indefinately if constantly straying from these guidelines as well.
Remember: this is a message board, not a chat room.
Forum Guidelines
* please try to stay on topic
* please avoid insulting and/or harassing other users
* avoid one liner or one word replies (i.e. "Hahaha!"); posts should have *some* value
* do not post nude photos - we're not prudes, but people use public/work computers. If you really gotta share some questionable content, simply post a link, and mark it NSFW (Not Safe For Work)
Additional Guidelines
* try to keep your ‘Posts Per Day’ under Cult_of_Frank, he’s our Poster Boy [bad pun there..really bad..ouch..it hurts so good.]
* no more "This is my # post" topics. These topics will be locked.

Something we talked about but I don't see repeated here...no posting embedded nude photos or any inappropriate photos. If you so wish to share these photos with the forum, please post a link to them and specify that the link is explicit. There are a number of people here who browse or post from work (don't tell your boss!) or public computers, and these images could mean big trouble for those people. If any such image is found, it will be edited into a link. Thanks

| What about if you wish to congratulate somebody on a high number of posts, the milestone posts if you will, like 1000? I made one for LBF and it generated alot of valid responses. However, I can see your point about making parody posts of "Congratulations to me on my 147th post!" And, apl hitting 1000 and later 2000 made for some pretty good feedback too. |

I'm assuming he means on-topic for the specific thread. Personally, I like it when threads deviate somewhat from their original topic--it gives them a more natural, conversational feel.
