well, the monkey could pick frozen ticks off the penquin, and the penquin could share some of its fish with the monkey

I really like the thought of this (and it made me laugh) but I'm not sure monkey's like fish. But then again , they have never tried it. And as my dad always told me "How do you know if you like something or not if you don't try it"

Personally, I find the Jack Jumper Ants from Australia very, very scary. Those things have a pretty potent venom! If you're allergic to them and get stung you'll have a horrible anaphylactic reaction. There have been atleast 4 deaths in the last 13 year or so. I know that's not much...but just the thought of walking outside and having a little tiny ant bite you and killing you is scary to me...It isn't even a defensive sting, either...they're just aggresive little fucks!

*EDIT* I'm doing some more research and it turns out there's atleast 1 death in Australia a year from Jack Jumpers..

More people probably die by slipping in the tub than those ants, so I wouldn't worry too much.

How about sharks? Hardly anyone is killed by sharks yet they get the whole "OH MY GOD *DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN* SHARK!" You have more of a chance of getting molested by Bill Clinton than you do of being bitten by a shark.

Here are some nice stats for you: The odds of being attacked by a shark in the United States are roughly 1 in 6 million.

According to the National Safety Council, your odds of dying from a fall down the stairs are about 1 in 200,000.

You're more likely to die from a sting from a hornet, wasp or bee than be attacked by a shark. Your odds of dying from a bite from a hornet, wasp or bee are about 1 in 5.9 million.

You're more likely to drown in your bathtub than be attacked by a shark. Your odds of drowning in your bathtub are about 1 in 800,000.

You're more likely to be killed by a falling object than be attacked by a shark. Your odds of being killed by a falling object are about 1 in 400,000.

You're more likely to be killed by an agricultural machine than be attacked by a shark. According to the National Safety Council, your odds of being killed by an agricultural machine are 1 in 500,000.

You're more likely — much, much more likely — to die in a motor vehicle accident than be attacked by a shark. Your odds of dying in a motor vehicle accident are 1 in 6,000.

The last one really got me. It means that you're 1,000 times more likely to die while driving to work than by getting bit by a shark.

I love ants, the clever, hard-working, organised little bastards. They are in my top ten animals list. Which out of interest, reads like this:

1) Penguins
2) Monkeys
3) Tigers
4) Ants
5) Bees
6) Dolpins
7) Snakes
8) Lizards
9) Koalas
10) Sharks

Sharks are a new entry and replace cows 'cos I haven't seen South Park in a while. Must say though that they are the highest climber in my whole life 'cos I have always been shit scared of them (sharks not cows), but my fascination with them keeps growing and growing the more I see of them on T.V and in books and magazines. They would never have gotten near my top ten as a kid!!!

Well, I guess the thing about sharks is mostly that they LOOK scary, what with those large bodies, sharp teeth, and all that.

And I think the chances of dying from listening to "Your Body Is A Wonderland" are 1 in 100,000, so that backs up my choice.

You know the biggest killer in Africa? Hippos! How cool is that?

My vote goes for the Terminator, which is disqualified for not being a monster. However, its still scary, so screw you.

I must say though that I love all animals, they're great!!! Komodo dragons were very close but they were covered in lizards.

My brother found one of these on the bananas at the Safeway warehouse where he worked.
He brought it home (without touching it) and even after he found out what it was he kept it for months.
I can't even explain the nightmares...

Actually there are so many funny stories in this one...

He had it at the warehouse in some box and we were driving by there so he said lets pick it up and bring it to our friends who lived nearby. So we brought it there dumped it into an empty glass aquarium where one friend promptly started poking at it with a twist tie through the mesh lid. We decided not to touch it or mess with it too much as it is as highly aggressive as they say. This thing grabbed the twist tie and started trying to bite it etc.

We left it there (I forget why exactly, we had to go somewhere). My bro called the museum the next day to see if they knew what it was. He said this is what it looks like, this is where I found it etc. To which they quickly responded, DON'T TOUCH IT! Its got that deadly nerve toxin. So my bro promptly calls his friends where he left it and they didn't answer the phone (and they're real homebodies). Then he starts to really freak out yelling OMG I think I killed them...(they were okay tho but it was pretty funny)

He fed it crickets and they're not too big these spiders so it was like Discovery channel right there. He fed it all sorts of bugs and one neat thing was there was this one moth he fed it that it just couldn't kill. The nerve toxin must not work on this weirdo moth.

Anyway after a couple months I could not take it anymore. I ended up freezing it by just leaving it outside. But this was right after the worst nightmare. I dreamt my brother was messing with it and got bit on the hand, to which I had to make a split second decision of whether to sever his hand with a butcher knife to stop the toxin from travelling any further(I have no idea how it works it was a dream).

The Count was actually quite creepy and threatening....and on the subject of vampires, the head vampire in 'Salem's Lot is very scary(reading the book at the mo.)....although, he was ripped off Nosferatu, so I guess I might pick him as the scariest monster. I vant to drink your blad!!

Isn't there some legend that says that vampires are obsessive-compulsive, and have to stop and count beans (or whatever) if you scatter them on the ground in front of them? Maybe there's more to the Count counting things than just a pun.
