Alright, I moved it. Back on topic...
I wasn't a big fan of Title TK except a few songs. Huffer comes to mind as brilliant. But BLD and DW blow it away, I think. I guess that's not a surprise coming from a FB.Net moderator.

Has anyone been able to access noaloha.com , the Breeders site? I get a "can't connect" notice. Was wondering what they have to say about the reunion. |

I love The Breedrs, Title TK was a fantastic album.
I'm hoping we don't have to wait another 10 years until Kim writes a new album.
When The Breeders played in London i actually missed an exam so i could get tickets. |

I've said it many a time and I'll still say it, Title TK was my favorite album of 2002. I'm not a huge Breeders fan like I am a huge FB fan, but that album is fan fucking tastic. I'd love another Breeders album.

The thing that occurred to me about Title TK recently was how strong a vision there was to it. There's a lot you could say about it, that it's inaccessible, dense, pointless, incoherent, whatever, but what I hear is that this is the album Kim must have had in her head for 6 years or more. Like every part of it just had to be the way it was before it could come out. I find that really appealing, and I tend to be attracted to music which has a vision or internal logic which I don't necessarily even "get" or understand. It's like a gordian knot. Now, that doesn't make for something I listen to every day, but I appreciate it very much.

i think title tk was a fantastic record. it just sounds so bloody good.
i wouldn't say it's as good as Pod, which is my fav post-breaup record - even though technically, it was released before bossanova, but ya know what i mean...

as far as I know there's no new album planned this year.. mainly cause the band would need to be going out on tour to promote it anyway... I know they started work on some new songs, but I'm not sure how many or what stage they're at... |

I just fear that any future release by The Breeders or FB may be their last...i mean they can't go on forever! I just hope Kim has another album in her. |

nope but they are both just in their early 40's I give them 15 years from now that's enough for 15 FB albums and 2 breeders records
bring them on!

Kick ass. Perhaps this reduces the likelihood of the permanence of this whole Pixies thing.

I love The Breeders. Must say that Last Splash is my favourite though. I hated that record when I first bought it, thought that there were only a few good songs on it (was expecting 15 Cannonballs I guess). However, one day something just clicked and now I think it's a work of genius. Hope I think the same of Title TK some day. I like it now but I don't love it like 'Last Splash', yet.
Pod is just one of those records I have never gotten round to buying 'cos I am always buying new music. I really want it though (have bid for it on Ebay a few times). I have a few of the tracks on Kazaa but I want it all on CD.
It's my birthday on Wednesday. Anyone care to buy it for me?

buy it homer. it is absolutely stunning. it is much different to last splash, but vastly superior imo.

I agree with benji. It's a very good album.
I had a video tape of some live sessions from the album (during recording?) but the tape has long since disappeared. Would love to see it again. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It was probably a BBC2 programme, Whistle Test or something.

They definitely played 'When I was a painter'...I think. We're talking over 10 years ago here so the old grey matter is struggling a bit.
