so more dates will be announced? can't really call it a "tour" if it's only two dates, right?
any clue if there will be more european dates?
it's educational |

More European dates, I don't know. I'd be surprised if it was only those two but haven't got anything more about that.

thank you for your feedback. not sure what to do now.
how fast do you guys think this'll sell out? normally i'd guess it'll take some time, but with only two dates announced, and one of them in london (pixies sell out in minutes there), and the other one in a tiny venue in paris, it might actually go quite fast.

They're already selling tickets for the London show now (on Thursday the 13th) and as I was getting mine I saw half the seats are already gone, so better hurry... |

There where pre-sales yesterday. I find the whole process very bitchy. You have to be a 40/50 years old idealistic fan to submit to those terms... And all that for obscure things from the past?

Nabbed some London tickets. There will possibly be a Dublin date but this is good backup. |

I managed to buy a couple of tickets for London at 10h17 after a 17 minute struggle with Blackfranc.is down and lwtheatre going soooo S..L..O..W... Modern online times suck. I only did the purchase for the sake of my 15 years old self who danced restlessly the first time he heard TOTY...

Album is an hour and 3 minutes, wonder if there will be any bonus songs played anywhere along the set
Pixies setlists lately have been about 22 songs long, so maybe not
Does anyone (thinking of you Benji) know if any TOTY songs have never been done live? I learned (thanks again to Benji) that Fazer Eyes has only been live once.
Whatever, this will be amazing |

Got myself a London ticket. Can hardly believe it!!!
Looking at the seating plan for the Palladium though, not sure I'm too happy with the location of my seat.... |

Roughly £52. Hope they release some nice merchandise for this actually. I'm still angry someone stole my black Bluefinger hoody. It was an absolutely terrible bit of clothing in terms of the fit but still, I liked the harmonica.

Still can’t believe I got the ticket. I check this site very randomly, but I guess this time I was just lucky. Also still plenty time to get a cheap flight ticket:) or maybe combine it with a family trip to the big ugly city. On a side note, I am however still bummed to have missed the Bossa/Trompe concert. I literally would have sold everything to see this.

It's a fair assumption there'll some kind of 'FB favourites' encore.
Bossa/Trompe shows were still generally 33/34 songs long. The recent tour dates are shorter due to being shared billings. |

I got mine this morning. 51€ (62€ seated). Expensive for this venue but this time I don't mind ! I'm curious to see how long it'll take to sold out. |

Why not have the entire orange album as an encore?
My realistic assumption, however, is Brackish Boy acapella. Would not be bad either.

Undoubtedly encore with Los Angeles, I Heard Ramona Sing, Hang On To Your Ego, This Is Where I Belong and, why not Men In Black and other B-sides from TOTY era. What's exciting is the fact that the album will be played live with EDF switching to keyboard for the first time!

My assumption would be Los Angeles, but I have a feeling he'll STILL do something like Where Is My Mind and annoy all the Frank solo fans.
In case they do add US tour dates, I would like to request people do not post spoilers or block out spoilers of the setlist for those of us who plan to see the show. It may seem silly but it's been so long since I've gone to a concert and been surprised because I'm on all these forums and facebook groups that post setlists. I've seen this erupt into arguments on other forums so just take it as a humble request, and if you disagree, that's fine. I may just not check these threads when the tour might be happening. |

Man, I would take anything in the encores that is not 1.0 stuff. It would be wild if he just busted out WIMM. Of course a dream scenario would be him saying, "this next song is going to be on my new solo Frank Black album coming out later this year"
SPOILER ALERT re: last night's setlist and recent setlists:
It looks like from what I can tell certain BossaTrompe songs are not making it onto these setlists on this leg of the tour. My uneducated guess is because of the difficulty of songs or the tuning things that the musicians on the forum have talked about over the years. |
