Would be good if they included some extras with this - the Pixies version of Brackish Boy for example would be cool.

Yeah. Disappointed no rarities. If not now, then when?

My thoughts exactly... what's the point.

Mind you 23 BTE songs inc the demos and extra single so I can't complain too much. But on the other hand Brackish Boy and Hang onto your Ego are out there on YouTube. Seems a shame not to have some little extras.

They could just do digital releases if there was any interest in getting this stuff out, I guess the fact they demo'd less for Bossa and Trompe is a bit of an issue but there's plenty we do we know about and there must be early or alt takes that have never seen the light of day.

I'd still drop everything for themed shows around these albums..

I thought this was a pretty good read, about the break up and Trompe. Not much new but good compilation of quotes and narrative

Yes, I remember the day Trompe came out thinking “not much Kim,” and yes when I saw them in 92 they didn’t seem like the happiest band in the world based on non-verbal energies or whatever, but no, Olympus Mons would not have been better with Kim singing, nor track 1 as I believe that was discussed as well. I can’t think of anything to do to make Trompe better. It’s the best.
