Aud recording of the Astoria 2003 show.
Sadly, the bottom end is blown out and this is probably as good as it's ever going to sound unless someone has a magic wand.
Don't think I've ever circulated this before, not seen another source. It's listenable if you put it on in one room and listen to from another ;) |

I was at this show. I had moved to London just a few days before and this was my first show I got to see. Thanks for sharing - bummer about the sound, but appreciate it nonetheless. Not sure if a different recording circulates - I should know, but none jump out at me which thinks it might be one that circulates.
all i can say, thank god for polio! brian |

First of all, thank you for this.
Seems easy enough to fix with some minor EQ adjustment, no? It won't make it sound amazing but it should stop the crazy rumbling. |

Get on it! ;)
I've done a lot to get it to here, the distortion isn't just in the bottom end though - it's there in the mid range too. Shame cos it sounds alright when it's not peaking, was just recorded too hot. |

If it wasn't in Flac and was one long file instead of broken up I'd be happy to make a go of it, but otherwise I just don't have the time :( |
