| Thanks so much. I didn't realize until my second play through that the intro is the an instrumental version of the bridge in a different key. Mind blown! (I think the bridge to this song might be Charles' best musical composition of the 2.0 era.) |

One thought actually - for the C in the Am G C Am sequence of the verse, there might be an extra change, maybe this:

1 1 1
0 0 0
2 0 2
3 3 3
X X X
Not sure what you would call that middle C chord. It replicates the notes of the melody, but it could be he hits that note with another shape, or its only present in Paz's a bass line.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Bf does that a lot. Catfish Kate chorus is full of this kind of chord with an extra note here and there that follows exactly the vocal melody. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the chord you mention is a Cadd9 (« C shape, lift middle finger » ). |
