Saint Nazaire (confirmed by band crew member that the name is Saint Nazaire, namesake taken from the town in France when the band toured through France on the Head Carrier tour)

Studio version of this one song just dropped into my iTunes account. Odd. Why would they release another single less than two days before the full release?

I think the "fucking prayer" bit is wrong, it sounds more like "funky fair" but that's not it either. I suspect it's something else completely, probably some obscure reference or another. Any clues?

Listened to the official track this morning on the tube. Gotta say that I already like some of the live versions better, particularly this one:

the intro gives me chills.
Having said that, the song rocks, Frank Black is the law, and we are fortunate to have new tunes like this coming out on the reg!
P.S. Frank has said repeatedly lately that if up to him he would release an album every year. Should the forum start a go fund me page and help him do it? |

Selkie Bride would have been a great title
"Eyrie" is in Oona, so technically this album could be "After the Eyrie" or "Beyond the Eyrie"
