I finally took the leap and bought a pair of Apple's AirPods. I wasn't surprised to find out that they function very well (awesome integration with iPhone), but I was very surprised that they turned out to be the best-sounding headphones I've heard -- and I do have some big ugly audiophile cans that have outstanding sound.
Anybody else using AirPods? If so, how do you like their sound quality?

Thought I was posh with my Senheissers. Wouldn't mind a pair of wireless plugs, number of time the wire catches on something and pulls them out of my ears, while I'm totally getting into a tune! |

I love my Grado SR325e cans even more than some living things (house flies maybe). I don't want no piddly pods. Hello by the way.

Flies are a very important part of our global ecosystem.
But I hear what you're saying. |

Are they better sounding than the wired Earpods ? I was considering buying the airpods but the price is frightening.
I love the earpods but I usually use a pair a year (cable usually fails at the jack)

The AirPods sound significantly better than the wired EarPods. I'm not sure how or why, but they do. I balked at the price for a long time, but now that I own them, I think they're worth what I paid.
