What is Frank's best song about travelling? This is definitely a strong contender along with Pan American Highway, Fast Man and California Bound.
Great lyrics - reminds me of the sort of depression you feel after doing some travelling and returning to the real world.
Also amazing guitar solo and some nice organ work by Eric! |

Great songs Maharal, Fast Man has really grown on me over the years.
Others I'd include are San Antonio TX, My Favourite Kiss and Out of State. |

I think Fast Man is one of his best. That falsetto kills me.
I hadn't thought about Pixies - Motorway a great shout. |

Yeah, Out Of State is one of his best, so good, just a fantastic song. |

There are so many. Pure Denizen Of The Citizens Band makes traveling sound irresistible.

The Modern Age certainly brings out the civilising aspects of travel.

Been thinking about Silver Snail a lot lately, it could be the anti-travel song. Very deliberate pacing, you can almost see the trail of slime.
I could picture Les Claypool covering it. |
