I was listening to this episode of CBC's Ideas
here
about a book is called 15 Dogs in which two gods are at a bar in Toronto and they bet on whether a dog given language could be happy.
One of these dogs becomes a poet.
At about 28:45 they talk about the form of the poetry, poeme pour une chein, which was created by Francois Caradec of a group called Oulipo. Embeded in each poem is the name of a dog, like "Max" is in the line, "The grim axe has come around." |
