Those 3 demos came from an unmastered album called Super Lecker, correct? May be an entirely new song. Shame it wasn't played. |

Somewhere in an instagram search for #pixies, a fan posted a hard copy of the setlist (I believe it was for the first show), and, sure enough, Super L was list as one of the songs, though it wasn't played. Hopefully it will be soon!

Reminds me of the intro to 'Snakes'. I wonder if that's what it developed into, hmm...
Anyway, for those who've yet to read the link BunsenH posted already Broward Palm Beach New Times briefly mention 'Super Lecker' here:
"In an interview with the New Times a couple of weeks ago, guitarist Joey Santiago threatened the Pixies might road-test some new songs on this tour, but only one of the 23 songs in the set had yet to be recorded. It was one in which Black hollered “I’m a super” and mumbled something about marzipan. That was the only unfamiliar moment."
Sounds a potentially fun number... hopefully someone will upload something to Youtube at some point soon! |

I think the quote states that it hasn't been recorded. I'm sure there is a demo, like Um Chagga Lagga and the other two, but not a finished studio recording. |

Not a fan of what I heard in Super Lecker
Rather bland and timid effort, with lazy rhytm, melody and lyrics
