I think it has been directed by 2 random girls that made a "Hey" viral video a few years ago, then met the Pixies backstage on the current tour, Black Francis asking them to make a new one for the last single of the album.

| A lot of hate for the song on Facebook. It's really polished but besides being half a minute or a minute too long I quite like it. It reminds me of Havalina. |

Thanks. I know it's the norm for bands to appear in their own videos but I wish Pixies would go back to this - it would be refreshing after all these (imo) uninspired conceptual efforts. They clearly don't want to, though. |

I think that's my main criticism of the album in general. Every song on Indie Cindy is over 3 minutes. In comparison, Surfer Rosa has 4 songs over 3 minutes, Doolittle and Trompe have 3, and Bossanova has 6. |

Velouria & Dig For Fire / Allison were also uninspired conceptual efforts, but as soon as the Pixies appears in it, boom, it works.
I think the video for Magdalena would have been great if Black Francis was casted as the main character !
