did anyone else happen to catch the pixies "answer" on tonight's JEOPARDY!?

"surrealism popped up in '80s music as this band's song "debaser" took off from bunuel's film "un chien andalou"...

sadly, none of the contestants got the question. :(

Yep, I saw it. It was the $2000 answer in the 'surrealism' category. Great stuff.

Made me nervous. thought Paz was getting fired (read as "Pixies IN Jeopardy), since she should be an official "Pixie" now. haha

You're surprised? The Pixies were, and remain, a cult act.

Ya know how, on Jeopardy, the response has to be exactly correct?

Woulda been funny if a contestant beeped and said "The Pixies" Alex: "No, I'm sorry. The answer is 'PIXIES', not THE Pixies" goodnite

Or.... if the person beeped and said "Pixies" Alex: "No, I'm sorry. You had to have answered "Who are 'Pixies'" The response MUST be in the form of a question.

Hi, everyone.

If Jepopardy was REALLY that difficult, it should have said:

"Pixies song 'Debaser' took off from this Luis Bunuel film"

Beep. answer: "What is 'Un Chien Andalou' " "Correct for $1600"!
