Very good, surealistic and a bit subversive. It gives to the song another dimension. Very fine, appart from the few clichées seconds in the elevator, it's good modern days' style video. The end with the egg and the veil reminds me of N°2.

Ahem... Well... I still think Pixies music doesn't need videos...
(except maybe for Velouria )

They are trying too hard to be artistic with these videos. It is getting a bit predictable. |

first few things that come to mind.
- doesn't anybody buy duvet covers anymore? - reminds of the guy in the yellow suit from the Gangnam Style video - doesn't add or detract from the song at all - least engaging video yet, i don't think i'll have to watch it again

Is a good video too much to ask for?

I wonder if the Pixies/Charles have any artistic input on those videos or if they (or their manager) just give carte blanche to random artists to make them ?
The best creative effort so far is probably the "Another Toe" video, but given the number of views... i'm afraid it didn't quite met the expectations...
Bagboy has passed the 1.5 million views bar, thanks to the fact that Youtube immediately put the video in the "recommended" top section for a week or so at the time of its release (surfing on the Pixies "comeback"). Still, many random youtube videos achieve more views than that...
Would have preferred if they had made live studio versions (like they did on "Head On", which was brilliant). Yes, i'm very demanding fan !

I haven't watched them all, but I thought the "Blue Eyed Hexe" video was really cool.
This one was alright. It's a video. I don't care enough to have any feelings about it. |

For me, Bagboy (first version), Boom and Hexe were very good Magdalena is disappointing, but better than Indie Cindy or Andro Queen I agree live studio shots would have been more interesting
I regret not having a series of videos with a narrative, like episodes in a TV series... I thought the Bagboy video could have been just the season premiere... As much as I like having a creative director like Vaughan Oliver for the artwork over the years, I think it would have been wiser to collaborate with a single director for the videos, maybe even a high profile one.

One of the few, special bands I'd rather not see videos of (if that even makes sense) |

Though I like both of the EPs I haven't yet mustered the interest to watch most of these videos, including this one. |

I listened to this song for the first time while watching it's video. Then I did it again. |
