Transmarine, if my memory serves me correctly (it's 50/50), you've been talking a big game about those demos from before Kim even quit the band. Can we assume that Kim D plays on these demos?

Really curious about production quality on these and how they compare to EP-1... |

I guess Jeremy plays on all the demos. But I can be totally wrong.

No, it leaked well before it was released and some of us had it already

Wow! This is great. Not to be a stickler, but no love for "Big New Prinz"? I know it's a Fall cover, but still... |

I made a playlist last week of the 10 new songs The Pixies have been playing live since they started touring again. I sequenced them as if they were their own live album of sorts, in a sequence that to me feels pretty good. Pulled from the best audio I've been able to come across, whether it's bootleg recordings of shows, or official recordings like the iTunes festival or Later with Jools Holland. I'll post them up later if people are interested. Big New Prinz included. |

Funny. I downloaded zip New Songs.zip and threw that into Add automatically to iTunes. I synced IPhone. Searched for Blue eyed Hexe. It was in Pixies New Songs.
1. Blue Eyed Hexe 3. Silver Snail 4. Greens and Blues Magdalena was missing. It was put in EP1: Bonus Tracks... |

Blue Eyed Hexe is simple but I think it's the catchiest of these live tunes. Magdalena and Silver Snail sound very mellow, almost sleepy to me. Hexe rocks out, plus Charles throws in cool words like Vivisection and Solar plexus. Want to hear a studio version already! |
