So a few years back I made a mix of Svn Fngrs and some odds and ends I thought went good with it just for fun. I was trying to make a full album out of Svn and a bunch of the bones and B-sides Charles was tossing out in those years, basically.
Given the massive Pixies resurgence in the last couple months (hell, they made the cut for the itunes festival - that's big jump up from the casino they were playing a year or two ago), I figured I'd revisit it to see if that stuff was as Pixie-Demoish as I thought it was at the time (hint: it's not, but it's still fun).
I'm only a couple tracks into listening to it, just figured I'd pop my listing up here. I find that it flows pretty well for my liking.
Have you done something similar with Svn Fngrs? Or with other scraps from that era? What's your mix? If you haven't, what would your mix be?
