I've encountered a few recently, and they were all people who I would have assumed otherwise just by looking at them that they would have known who frank black/the pixies were, but they didn't, just a blank expression and the general question 'who's that then?' hanging over the conversation, in a kind of 'I don't really care who they are but you seem quite enthusiastic about them so I better show some interest' kind of way
It just goes to show that there are still people out there who don't know who the Pixies are.
