| Initial two listen thoughts. Not as quirky as I expected. Agree with Sven fingers comment. I like the opening a lot, feels a bit Fallish. But great to hear that Santiago guitar roar again. Will see how I see feel after another 100 playbacks. |

| Wow, this is actually happening. Track picks up with the guitar wails, female vocals and FB screams. Not initially liking the repetition of "cover your breath, polish your teeth" throughout the song, All in all, not bad and just freakin happy to hear them doing it. Awesome day. |

Also, I'm with those who doubt that's Kim singing. Listen to the end of the song, where the female vocals are less buried. My first thought is that it sounds like Violet. |

I am totally unable right now to have an objective opinion on a Pixies song. If I try to relate it to previous Pixies work, I would say that it very remotely makes me think of (don't shoot!): Dig For Fire |

Hmm, not seeing that connection. I'm getting a Subbaculcha vibe from the vocals.
Most early reports assuming its Kim, unless they've gotten confirmation from the Band itself that it's her?

Maybe it's both? The last second definitely sounds like Kim.
I'm hearing Dig For Fire, The Seus, Space (I Believe In), Bam Thwok and then some. It sounds like everything BF has done from 1990 to 2011 condensed in 4'52". Plus some Bowie.

I'm assuming it is Kim.. It's a possibility she recorded with them and then gave permission for her parts to be used despite no longer being in the band isn't it?
And as for how it sounds - I don't think it really sounds like anything from the Pixies existing back catalogue but that doesn't bother me at all. I think i'm now past caring about whether a song has the 'Pixies' name stamped on it or not (especially now Kim's gone). Its just a great little song written by my favourite artist and If it had been released on a Frank solo album, i'd feel just the same about it. |

Had a few listens. Pixies songs were always memorable. Not sure this one is. But Joey and Kim's? parts were recognisable at least.
