He's busy with Some Big Secret Project That Pretty Much Everyone Has Figured Out By Now.
Personally though, the news I'd be most excited about is a solo US club tour. I don't know if we'll ever get one of those again, but we'll have to see, I guess. Maybe sometime in 2014.

I'm talking full band tour. Last time I saw him with one was with Blonde Animal on drums post fastmanraiderman. |

I feel like such a dope that I haven't figured out what the Some Big Secret Project is. Not that I've dedicated too much thought to it, but I am jonesin' for something new from the man.
And I too am suffering from live show withdrawal. Little did I realize that the "homecoming" show at the Aladdin in Portland at the end of the last proper solo tour (memory fails, but that's how I think of it) would signal the end of the tremendous run of shows I got to see out here in the Northwest. I was spoiled, sure, but to go from that pace down to nothing for a year and a half (again, memory fails, but that's the best I can recall) really stings. |
