I hear there are rumours going around that Pixies are currently in the studio rehearsing for the new album and an upcoming 2013 worldwide tour. None of this is confirmed yet but rumour has it that this might be the last album they ever make, after that it's nothing, back to solo careers and stuff. No one yet knows what the album will be called, how many songs will be on it or when it will be released, but sure as apples grow on trees there IS going to be a new pixies album sometime within the next decade.

| Recording in Fall 2012 and Release in Spring 2013 followed by a World Tour. The one demo I heard is very Pixies, like Bossonova meets Where Is My Mind, so I have high hopes for this. |

| How have you managed to get to hear a demo? I don't think I would want to hear any demoes until after I've listened to the final album. |

| Yeah I'm with Pot. I don't want to hear anything until I hear the finished product. Hopefully the album doesn't get leaked; I'd rather avoid any early reviews and go into the album free from any preconceptions or expectations. |

Yes, it appears to have been removed from imgur for some reason, and all attempts to reupload it have failed. Not sure what is going on there.
Try this instead.
Edit. Appears to be back up. Not sure what happened there, probably just a glitch. Can you see it now, both versions I posted? This one is from flickr. It should be set on both for public viewing.
