There are a lot of record sleeves that I love and about 4 years ago I started a blog to showcase some of my favorites. After all this time I still don't have an audience and I'm wondering if maybe I should delete my blog.

Part of it is that I haven't done much to promote my blog, but I wonder if there are other people out there who are interested in record sleeves or if nobody cares.

I've tried to make a blog that I'd like to read and look at. Over the past few years I've come across a lot of cool record sleeves and promo posters. I still like going back and looking at older posts and seeing some of the pictures again.

If you get a chance, please take a look at my blog. Last week I did a few posts about the CD booklet for Frank Black: Frank Black. I love the work that v23 did on that record.

Nice blog Jimmy, you should keep it up... try promoting your blog using Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Thanks Carl, it's really nice getting encouragement. I'm trying to think of ways to make it a better experience- there are a lot of blogs that I like to read; I don't think that I'm a very good writer but I'm trying to get better.

The thing I like about the blog is I like the idea that people might see something new- every once in a while I come across some import CD with alternate artwork or a cool promo poster from the 90s (last year I was looking at a website and found an amazing poster for the first FB album). Maybe someone will see something that they didn't even know existed.

Hey jimmy. I've looked at your blog before and enjoyed it. And like you said, there's plenty there that I've never seen before.

Thanks Darwin, I really like the fact that people might look through it and see new things. And almost all the record sleeves I put up are 4AD bands-
Pixies
Throwing Muses
Belly
The Breeders
Frank Black
Kristin Hersh

One thing I wanna do is something that I've seen on other blogs: they'll have a list of subjects and you click on what you want and it'll take you to all the posts on that subject, so someone could just click on The Breeders and see all my Breeders posts.

I saw that a lot of people have been checking out my blog lately- I love that. I just wish people would leave comments, nobody ever leaves a comment. I'd be happy with anything, even "U suck".

Anyway, I just posted a bunch of record sleeves from The Breeders and Kristin Hersh. The artwork from "Mountain Battles" is awesome.
