Posted a few YouTube clips from this band in the official forum What are you listening to right now? thread but I felt they deserved a thread of their own.
Just discovered them through 3voor12, there new album The Crux should still be streaming there. I'd recommend a listen, it's very good.
Reminds me a lot of Sonic Youth especially during the slightly out of tune plinky guitar bits. Vocally the lead singer sounds a lot like Stephen Malkmus, other times Andy Falkous of Mclusky. Nothing original here, but all good songs + excellent production.
I think this could be my album of the year, can't stop listening to it. It's ont of those albums where you totally love to bits but you reach a point where you have to stop yourself from over listening to it in case you get bored of it.
