...Well, it's actually Maxence Cyrin's cover of WIMM?, but in any case it's a good cause:

Marketing Week.

Pixies and Colin Firth front Japanese
tsunami ad

Thu, 16 Jun 2011 | By Lara O'Reilly

Rock band Pixies and actor Colin Firth have
both contributed to a pro-bono film to
commemorate 100 days since the tsunami
that killed over 15,000 people hit Japan.

The ad, titled One Thousand Cranes, was shot at
a junior school and depicts young children folding
origami birds and a voiceover by Colin Firth,
soundtracked by Pixies.

One Thousand Cranes supports the www.wishesforjapan.com website that
provides information about donating to the Japanese tsunami appeal. It will
feature on TV and online and was created by JWT International Bang TV.

On 11 March 2011 an earthquake of nine magnitude on the Richter Scale
struck off Japan’s north-east coast, followed by a tsunami travelling at 800
kilometers per hour. The death toll from the disaster has reached more than
15,000, with more than 8,000 people still missing.

Derek Turner-Smith, CEO at JWT International, says: “With Japan officially in
recession and still tens of thousands homeless, the shockwaves from the
tsunami are still being felt one hundred days after.

“From our initial concept through to the final film, everything has been
beautifully and sensitively realised. The whole project has been all about
altruism - a great advertisement for advertising.”
