I feel I've asked the same question a couple of months ago but... benji how are you? Things look grim in New Zealand. Hope everyone's OK.

I have the sames feelings of Denis, I hope that you´re ok benji, and also your relatives, an earthquake is not a nice experience to live...and 2 in one year is really a bad luck,
Best wishes from Chile

I e-mailed him a couple months ago, and never heard back. Considering he works in mines, it's worried me a bit since. |

I was sort of expecting some bright spark to say the safest place during an earthquake is down a mine.
Thanks for that update Llama. Hope it's not too long before benji posts here.

ah, i feel the love. but yes, our family are all ok. my wife's family live in christchurch, and are in a bit of a mess, but are all accounted for. and safe as houses in the mines....but i did feel the quake on tuesday - i work about 250km from christchurch. and as a geologist, i hate the damn things.
coastline - i emailed you back....i'll try to track it down and re-send...summer xmas's are superb!
all i can say, thank god for polio! brian |
