On the recent tour he was introducing 'Dead Man's Curve' as a rejected Pixies song.

I thought too the riff from Threshold Apprehension was kicking around as an unfinished song that started off pre-1991.

Yes, the thing is that this interview is from 2008, so maybe he used some of them on the later albums (I forgot that)
