Today i had an orgarsm when i read the newspaper:

Pixies will lead a festival in Santiago on October with other artist such as Incubus, probably the will play in Brazil too.
Until I have my ticket i wont believe, but this seems the most serious effort to bring Pixies to Southamerica again  |

| yeah, some friends are not going to the show in Santiago (because the only band that they like from the festival is the Pixies) but they told me that if the Pixies played in Argentina they might be attending... Are the Pixies playing in a festival too in BS. Aires? |

mmm is not confirmed yet Andrés, but if they play alone, definitly worth it.
I´m not want to be offensive, but you´re friends are crazy, the must go to the Bs Aires Show in Luna Park (October 6th) an then Santiago show (October 9th), they deserve to see them twice. Took 6 years to they come back to south america..think on that... |

This is the final line up and the schedules for the festival:
the only think that pisses me off is that linkin park has a better position than Pixies...and they don´t close the festival...so we have to expect an 1:15 hour show. |

hey Andrés, the venue is only for 1.800 people, check this out:
Pixies, quienes se reunieron el 2004 con su formación original, actualmente se encuentran celebrando los 20 años del “Doolittle”. A diferencia de Incubus (que agotó dos arenas en 2007), será la primera vez que el cuarteto de Boston conformado por Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal y David Lovering se presentará en Santiago – primero en el Club Hípico el 9 octubre y pasados 4 días en el Teatro La Cúpula.
Las entradas para los dos sideshows de Maquinaria estarán a la venta por sistema Puntoticket y sin recargo en la tienda SoldOut (portal Lyon, local 79). Habrá solamente entrada general.
